In case it helps anyone else, yes it works on Linux!

Using Nixos I installed the following drivers:

brlaser, brgenml1lpr and brgenml1cupswrapper.

Even though the exact model doesn’t show up in CUPS it works. I selected the BR-Scrip3 configuration thingy, this worked for both the USB and wireless connectivity. For the wireless URL I just used the LPD / LPR protocol and then the ip with a trailing slash /.
